Database of genetically engineered argicultural crops (including genetic elements of the constructs) approved worldwide is supported by GenBit. The database includes also information on authorisation status of genetically modified crops in the Russian Federation and in the European Union (lines being under withdrawal process are not included).
The database does not include flowers (carnation, petunia…), as well as lines, which have no information available on the transformation event and/or genetic elements of an insert (e.g., several sugar cane varieties).
Lines (transformation events) having the same set of genetic elements of inserts are united within one entry.
Database is built upon reliable information resources, as well as upon the analysis of primary sources (patents, offical approval papers, original publications in peer-reviewed science literature).

HT - herbicide tolerance; IR - insect resistance; IY - increased yield; MS - male sterility; MUT - obtained via mutagenesis (when own natural mutant gene of the species/genus is inserted and employs regulatory sequences of the host organism); PQ - altered product quality; PR - pathogens/disease resistance; VR - virus resistance; RF - restored fertility; ST - abiotic stress tolerance; STBS - stacked event obtained with traditional breeding and selection; RUS - approved in the Russian Federation (not for growing); EU - authorised in the European Union; n/a - information not available.
For multi-parameter search divide the parameters with space.
Search for "RUS" yields lines approved in the Russian Federation; search for"EU" - yields lines authorized in the European Union
Entering stoff removes stacked lines
